In the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone — Miami-Dade and Broward — impact doors need a Miami-Dade NOA (or an HVHZ-rated Florida Product Approval). In Palm Beach, a Wind-Borne Debris Region and not HVHZ, the correct standard is a Florida Product Approval (FL#) rated to your design pressure. Large door spans often demand higher design-pressure ratings than windows, so matching the product to the opening matters even more here.
